Where every edge counts.
SharpLine Dental sharpens instruments for dental practices across Chicagoland — scalers, curettes, elevators, and scissors, picked up from your office, honed to spec, and returned ready for your next patient.
A dull instrument works against you.
Sharp instruments change how an appointment runs, start to finish — for you and for the patient in the chair.
Easier insertion
A properly honed edge slides into tight sulcular pockets instead of catching or dragging.
Faster appointments
Calculus and plaque come off in fewer strokes, so scaling and debridement take less chair time.
Patient comfort
Less burnishing and dragging means a smoother, noticeably less uncomfortable cleaning.
Ergonomic relief
A sharp edge does the work instead of your wrist — less fatigue over a full day of appointments.

Alisa grew up around dentistry — her family has run the Hay Dental Center in Lviv, Ukraine since 1999. She's since worked as a dental assistant for twelve years in the US, spent three years in a hospital oral surgery department, and is now a dental hygiene student at Harper College, where instrument sharpening is part of her coursework.
